Stages
What children learn, class by class
Pre-primary
Learning through play, stories, songs and hands-on work: early reading and phonics, numbers, art, music and outdoor play. No exams; teachers write a progress note each term.
Primary
English, Hindi, Kannada, Mathematics, Environmental Studies and Computer Science, with Art and Craft, Music and Physical Education every week.
Middle school
English, Hindi, Kannada, Mathematics, Science, Social Science and Computer Science. Science practicals in the physics and chemistry labs begin in Class 6.
Secondary
The CBSE board years: English, a second language, Mathematics, Science, Social Science and Computer Science, with regular practice papers before the Class 10 board exam.
Science stream
Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology, English, and Computer Science or Physical Education. An optional JEE and NEET foundation course runs alongside (₹3,500 a month plus GST).
Commerce stream
Accountancy, Business Studies, Economics and English, with Mathematics or Computer Science. Students use the computer lab for accounting practice.
Assessment
Two terms, two exams, one clear report card
The school year runs from April to March in two terms. Term 1 runs from April to September and ends with the Half-Yearly exams in September; Term 2 runs from October to March and ends with the Annual exams in March. Class tests and homework marks are recorded through the year.
Classes 1 to 5 get grades on a six-point scale; Classes 6 to 12 use the CBSE eight-point scale. Art, music and physical education are graded but do not count towards the total. Results appear in the parent login as soon as the school publishes them.
